This BACP film aims to demystify therapy, tackle misconceptions and answer common questions about seeing a therapist
This film aims to help you understand what therapy is, address some of the myths that surround it and explain how to find a registered therapist.
The four minute feature sees BACP members Diane Youdale, Lara Waycot and Anthony Davis discussing what therapy involves and what to expect from it.
They also explore how much therapy can cost, how you can access it from places such as the NHS, charities and through your workplace, and talk about the rigorous training therapists go through before they are qualified.
The film is part of the BACP Therapy talks campaign and was released across media and social media to help reach as many people as possible who want to understand more about therapy.
